old vine
Old Vine Cafe in Costa Mesa- located in the middle of all those cute/hippy stories at CAMP.They are famous for their breakfast foods. It was actually rated the best restaurant in OC in 2009 according to yelp, so I though I'd give it a try. Don't come here in on a Sunday around 1 pm, otherwise expect to wait at least 40 minutes. So finally me and my friend Josh get seated to eat. The waiter was SUPER friendly and nice! Josh ordered some sort of breakfast combo (below). The portions are huuuuge!! You will not leave hungry for sure.
I ordered the Omelet Espana which had prosciutto cheese, red bell peppers, mushrooms, artichoke hearts, and more cheese. The omelet was huge and I could taste the perfect amount of saltiness and flavor of the ingredients really well. It came with a generous side of potatoes and a piece of toast with homemade jam! The overall resturant was cozy and had a really nice relaxing atmosphere. It's a really good place to catch up with a friend. I really enjoyed my meal here, definitely worth the 40 minute wait.

Fresh squeezed orange juice!
